Ten years ago, I met a man. His name was Chuck Wilberger and little did I know that he was about to immerse me in the world of Volvo Cars. Suddenly I had entrée into the inner world of the Swedish car manufacturer.

New product launches, car shows and events, racetracks, car people…car talk became second-nature. As an artist, I could not help but start to look at the lines of a car and become enamored with even the vocabulary. How can you not love terms like “catwalk” to describe the shoulders of a car? Finally, I saw the great car designer Peter Horbury give a presentation in Hawaii. It was all about lines and movement…I was hooked!

So, combine my immersion in the Volvo world, lines and movement and two groovy Volvos in my own garage…I had no choice but to create my vision of Vintage Volvos.

By the way...I married the Volvo guy!
